Once again the heightened risk of widespread power cuts is highlighted in the National Press. We await the National Grid’s outlook for this Winter’s energy supply but its the year after that’s particularly concerning due to the number of coal power stations that will be shutting in 2016 due to tighter EU regulations on emissions as well as UK Carbon taxes. The crux of the matter is that the only way to make sure you don’t suffer a power cut is to install a power protection system.
